Hi Mickael, I validated the release by doing the following: - verified checksums and signatures - built from source - ran basic producer/consumer tests, validated configs - pull RC1 Docker image and ran basic producer/consumer tests - browsed the Javadoc - cloned the Kafka-site PR and browsed the documentation locally, new content is present (comment in the docs PR)
