Thanks for the KIP Pritam, Some of the features proposed by this KIP have had other KIPs in the past (eg KIP-1108), while others are completely novel.
Before discussing the merits of these changes I wanted to ask you if there's a reason to conflate the transform metrics, skipped record metrics and handling of skipped records in sink connectors under the same KIP, as they are orthogonal with each other. From my experience, getting reviews/engagement for smaller/more focused KIPs is easier than broader ones.
