Gwen Shapira commented on KAFKA-1875:
-------------------------------------

You don't actually need a JIRA to create / edit a wiki, you just need to:
1. Create a wiki user
2. Email the dev mailing list and ask for wiki edit privileges for your user

I think wiki is the right place to document the PreCommit Testing script. Its
not part of the product Kafka so it doesn't belong in product docs.

Hope this helps.

> KAFKA-1856 adds PreCommit testing to Kafka project. A wiki page/
> documentation is required to outline various steps involved in PreCommit
> Testing and how it works.
