http://kafka.apache.org/contributing.html I'm wondering if we could get some attention to https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/KAFKA-1716 We recently upgraded to Kafka 0.8.2.1 and hit a deadlock every time we shutdown our product. The stacktraces look very much like the ones in this JIRA. This has become a real problem for us. Thanks! Chris
