[~ijuma][~harsha_ch] It looks like this is actually disabled in 1.7 (quick test
gives an error about protocol being depricated) but I guess it wouldn't hurt to
exclude it explicitly.
Harsha - if you're not working on this let me know and I'll do a quick PR
