[~rsivaram], I wasn't so concerned about the size of the patch. Since this is a
user-facing change, we probably should do a KIP discussion so that the
community is aware of the change. Given the release timeline, I think it's
better to do that post 0.9.0, probably 0.9.1. Thank you for all your help so
far.
