I see your point now, in that case you can just call {{Rate()}}, which will use
a default {{SampledTotal}} in that class:

As stated in the java doc "By default this is the total observed over a set of
samples from a sampled statistic divided by the elapsed time over the sample
windows." I think that should work for your case?
