The new Snap packaging format makes it easy to install and update services like
Kafka. It provides a one-command install process, reliable dependencies, and
security for the user. A snap package will also allow Kafka to be run on the
recently released Ubuntu Core images for IoT gateways and lightweight cloud
instances.
