If you feel that dynamic stuff at feature level could cause issues, then maybe we should consider it twice. However, the features concept is not something that is used only internally. It is a provisioning tool offered to karaf users and imho most of the users would love such functionality inside the features. So, lets return to our initial topic... what do you say to solve the minimal distribution the way Guillaume suggests, but create the functionality Andreas and me described in order to offer it to karaf application developers?
