Hi Dan,

I don't want to hold Karaf release for an Aries issue. As I don't think it's a huge blocker (even if it's critical for you), I propose to release Karaf 2.3.1 as it is, and fix that (with an Aries update) in 2.3.2/2.4.0.

Regards
JB

now that the Vote has been canceled, I have a second thought on those
2 bugs i found. Can Aries team address this quickly? Since those are
regression bugs.

Sorry, cant help to ask.

Thanks

Agree,

The distro should start out of the box.

I revert my vote to -1.

I tend to agree with that reasoning - our distros need to at least
startup out of the box.

I'm going to post a -1 on this release due to the minimal distro not
starting. Once this issue is resolved another RC will be posted for
review and vote.

Cheers,
Jamie

The minimal distribution fails to start because its missing
the org.apache.karaf.jaas.authz-2.3.1.jar from the system repo.
Having one of two flavor not being able to start, seems like a show
stopper, but I am not sure. What do you thing?
