IMHO, it's really interesting. My only concern is to keep it "decoupled"
from Karaf core in order to work with felix. That's why maybe a feature
condition could work (with a capability/requirement).
Let me think about that.

It is a generic approach and contains no specific code for Equinox DS.
If it is not of any interest, it is okay.
