Hi KIE Community,
My name is Zhihui Lai. I have been studying and working with Drools since
2016.
In 2019, I published the first Chinese book about Drools, titled 《Drools
规则引擎技术指南》, which introduces the theory, implementation, and practical
applications of the Drools rule engine.
Over the years, I have been deeply exploring Drools internals, including
the ReteOO algorithm, the Phreak engine, the KieBase/KieSession lifecycle,
and event processing mechanisms.
Recently, I have been focusing on Drools 7.40.0, working on a new book that
further explores the engine’s execution model. Some parts of this work have
already received positive feedback from experts in the field.
I’m very glad to see the KIE project joining the Apache Software Foundation.
I would love to actively participate in the community — to learn from
others, exchange technical insights, and contribute wherever I can.
