For performance reasons, we should investigate the feasibility and potential
benefit of changing the ZooKeeper-based AliasService implementation to employ
one of the Curator-provided caching mechanisms (e.g.,
[TreeCache|https://curator.apache.org/curator-recipes/tree-cache.html]).
