Larry,
I searched for other accounts for you. Are you sure you have another Jira account other than the A hortonworks account?
Kevin.

Yes, I can assign them now.

Thanks!

I wonder whether my hortonworks based jira account will cause any
problems since it isn't even subscribed to the lists?
I guess we'll see...

Looks like I have that karma. Larry, see if you can assign to yourself now.
BTW it looks like it is lmccay AT hortonworks that has a jira account.

Hey Sumit,

The Champion for the project was probably given JIRA karma for Knox
to do this.

So Devaraj should be able to see the admin tab in JIRA and then assign
the appropriate karma to folks.

Cheers,
Chris

You should be able to add your name to the assignee field. In fact, when
you create JIRAs there is a link under the assignee field which say
Assign
To Me.

Although I do see the you cannot do that for Knox JIRAs. Considering
Kevin
managed to assign a couple to himself he might know.

Hi -

Is there a way to assign Jira's to oneself?

I've filed a number of issues to keep track of them and want to set
myself as the assignee for at least what I am currently working on.
Do I need some escalated permissions to do this?

thanks,
