I just pushed a change that affects the startup of the servers. The
servers now always log output into {GATEWAY_HOME}/logs. When installed
via RPM {GATEWAY_HOME}/log will be a symlink to /var/log/knox. There
are now separate *-log4j.properties files in conf for the gateway and
the ldap servers.
I also added a ldap.sh.
I also reworked some of the build.xml targets for working with the test
servers. Here are the new/modified targets.
start-debug-gateway Start test gateway server in debug mote
start-test-servers Start test LDAP and test gateway servers.
stop-test-servers Stop test LDAP server and gateway servers.
restart-test-servers Restart test LDAP and gateway servers.
In addition you can now run both java -jar and the shell scripts from
any directory and it does a better job of figuring out what GATEWAY_HOME
should be.
BTW. I still need to update the 0.4.0 user's guide with these changes.
I tried to run these every way that I could think of but there may be
things that I've missed. If you run into anything weird starting either
please let me know ASAP. I'm also interested in things that aren't
necessarily weird but that you would like to have work differently,
