Hello all, After careful consideration of the patches and the number of patches that have to be backported (220+) we, the committers and contributors at Cloudera feel we can do a 1.17.1 release with must have fixes to address security, compilation and test issues and I have posted the backports here <https://gerrit.cloudera.org/#/q/status:open+project:kudu+branch:branch-1.17.x> for review. Let me know if you have any questions or think there are more patches needed for this release.
Note: I will be starting a Kudu 1.18 release thread to have both the releases in parallel.
