Hi:

I am very glad to see you are moving toward Top Level Project status.

I have been enjoying reading the documentation, and have made some
suggestions to improve readability in English.

On this page [1] there is extensive use of the term 'slave' to describe a
non-central server in a distributed system. As you may know, the computer
world is moving away from pairs like "master/slave" and
"whitelist/blacklist" because of their unintended offensive connotations.

The Infrastructure team has been discussing replacement terms for a couple
of years [2], as we have observed many of the technologies we work with
adopting new terms. I wanted to raise this with you as you might want to
consider adopting a different set of terms to describe the central and
peripheral servers before you have built up so many references, both in the
code and in the documentation, that making a change would become difficult.

Note: this is a suggestion only. The ASF does not require moving away from
master-slave and similar sets of terms, and many projects continue to use
them.

Also, feel free to explore the Infra space in the Confluence Wiki. There
are a lot of resources, tips, and examples that may prove useful.
