Actually, I think the ODBC driver for Kylin with PowerBI/Excel is not a perfect solution. Because Power BI/Excel tries to load data from Kylin to memory for further analysis. When the data volume is huge, that will have a big issue. The best solution is to pushdown the aggregation queries to the underlying engine like Kylin (similar to Tableau's "live connection" mode), only load the aggregated result to PB.
