Hello Kylin developers,
The Project Management Committee (PMC) for Apache Kylin has invited Zhichao Zhang (张智超, mail: [email protected], apache id: zhangzc) to become a committer and we are pleased to announce that he has accepted. In the last year, he did a lot of contribution to Kylin community, mainly on development and community support for Kylin 4, he did a lot work including enhancements, bug fixings, documentations, and others. Besides, he shared his knowledge for Kylin 4 in several technical conferences. Zhichao's knowledge and experience on Spark, Parquet and Carbondata has greatly helped to improve Kylin 4's quality and stability. Being a committer enables easier contribution to the project since there is no need to go via the patch submission process. This should enable better productivity.
