Dear Ivy,

Thank you very much for pointing to SunGloss as our terminology tool!

Dear Ankit and Community:

First at all, thank you very much for your interest in SunGloss!!!

Please know once you have logged into SunGloss the most used features are:

- that of 'Search' (upper left side: Searching or Search for a Term)
- and that of 'Export Glossary' (again, upper left side, below the Search option)

If you wish to dowload a glossary file (english -> any other language) -> simply go to the second Link or Option:

-> Export Glossary / - Generate and Export Glossary . select English as the source language / select the wished target language . select the product line: e.g. StarOffice (under source language) / StarOffice (under target language) -product line needs to be the same under source and target lg.)
. press the 'Generate Glossary' button.

You will be notified per email once the glossary export is ready. Go to the link given and dowload the glossary. To open the file, we recommend you do it in a spreadsheet, using the format Text CSV (comma seperated values).

And that's all, you can do this as many times and with so many languages as you wish ;)

We hope you enjoy it. Please do let me know if you had any questions or issues with the dowload.

B.R.
Aridane

I know about this URL, but when I visited it (after creating an account there), I couldn't find any file (english glossary template) which is available for download or even view...

Coudl you please check once again and let me know, if you find any out there?

Thanks!
Ankit

Hi,

Is there any glossary for Openoffice translations available somewhere on the openoffice?

From the quick google search I found following URLs, which does have little bit about glossaries.

http://nl.openoffice.org/t9n_nl2_en..html
http://nl.openoffice.org/localization/glossary.sxw
http://wiki.services.openoffice.org/wiki/Translation_for_2.4#Glossary
https://g11nportal.sun.com/sungloss

Can someone point me to the right location for Glossary used for Openoffice.org translations?

Thanks a lot!
