Hi Amareshwari, We were at the dev showcase demoing lens capabilities. So we didnt have a presentation as such. However, there were several people who seemed pretty excited with the architecture and were curious to know more about Apache Lens.
On the solution front, there were many companies such as : Platfora, Datameer, Trifacta, Jethro, Thoughspot, Interana, focusing on solving specific problems. The pattern seems to be pretty common though i.e: a query and an analytics platform built over hot, warm and cold data stores and is capable of joins across multiple data sets. This was also one of the common questions asked by the folks who stopped by. I managed to pull a platfora guy to our booth and demo'ed lens and he got pretty excited :-). BTW, platfora's query engine is also called lens ;-) On the techstack front, we met the co-founders of Druid, ScyllaDB who appreciated the overall lens architecture and were willing to contribute to lens driver for the respective data sources We also managed to print a large poster. Will stop by your office to handover a copy sometime this week.
