I did the same from command line.

mvn clean install -DskipTests -DskipCheck
mvn idea:idea


Java version is 1.8

I tried opening the project directly and selected
/home/ajay/openSource/incubator-lens. Also I tried importing as maven
project. Both the cases I see compilation errors.
