Great help.
I have not tested it yet but it looks pretty clear.
You have cocoon appearing by magic. Do we not have to download/install
something to make this work?
In the Lenya install documentation , they seem to imply that you need
the cocoon sources but not a working cocoon deployment. Your
instructions seem, to my newbee eyes, to only require the jars. What is
the truth?
for compiling in eclipse, the jars are enough
I will try it your way, if I can get the right amount of cocoon put in
the right place.
Is there a way to do the Lenya install by creating the project in the
Eclipse workspace rather than as an external project?
yes, and it needs to be documented better. try the eclipse-project ant
target
OT. Do you have any sense about how stable 1.4 is. I need to have a
stable site built by the fall. I can stand a bit of instability while we
are doing the initial load of content since I will be doing most of that
myself with another person who is a junior programmer/graphic artist so
is used to stuff not working too well (his code and Macromedia's tools).
it is fairly stable at this point (some people are using it in production)
