some days ago, i asked about editing the sample pages that a user sees
when s/he creates a new page of a certain doctype (such as xhtml,
clinks, homepage etc.).

andreas hartmann pointed me to modules/<doctype>/samples/*.xml.
this seems to be a global setting, since it's directly under
build/lenya/webapp/lenya. i'm interested in solving this with
publication-specific settings (or, more precisely, i want to define
samples in one template publication and would like to see them inherited
by derived publications).
tried copying the modules/<doctype>/samples/ tree to <my-pub>, but that
does not work.

we do need good documentation of the entire filesystem layout
under /build/lenya/ and what each directory and file does.
