I thought more progress migrating to Modules had been completed.
Everything needed for a DocumentType should be contained in a
DocumentTypeModule. A DocumentTypeModule must contain:
module.xconf : Contains name of parent for inheritance. Name of
ResourceType for Admin Menus. Later will include Index configuration.
And could contain:
sitemap.xmap
doc2xhtml.xsl
doc2index.xsl
template.xml
(anything else useful)
Any file not found in the Module is found by checking the inheritance,
usually another DocumentTypeModule either in this Publication, a
Template, or Global. That provides both "fallback" and the ability to
"overwrite".
The only entry needed in publication.xconf is the name of the Module.
as others said before, the workflow should also be publication-specific
(although the module might contain a default suggestion).
