Hello Doug,

That sounds like a good idea. I guess it won't be a problem to display the various editors. What about inserting links, images, etc. WDYT?

PS: kudo to Tim for his work on tinyMCE for 1.2 :-)

Hey Renaud, I am very interested in these various form based editors as well, and a few weeks back started to look into using cforms with the dojo html editor.

After poking around with the cforms module, it seems that we could easily make a simple "oneform module" that can handle multiple editors simply defined by the fi:styling type (htmlarea, dojoarea, fckarea, etc).

I haven't looked at the tinyMCE editor yet, but from what I can tell, these editors fall into two catagories, upload via webDAV (which should be made to use the dav interface if possible), and upload as a POSTed parm to a web form. It would be great if we could make an easy way to plug these form based editors.

WDYT?

Hi all,

I have started to work on the integration of the TinyMCE editor for Lenya 1.4. Very much a work in progress at this point, still you can try it there:

Thanks Tim for the wiki page http://wiki.apache.org/lenya/HowToIntegrateTinyMCEEditor :-)
