The Java source version, e.g.
# The Java version.
# Change to 1.5 if you need the features of 1.5.
java.version=1.4
This way, one doesn't have to change all compile targets to 1.5
to use generics etc.
BTW, Cocoon recently considered to switch to 1.5, but the proposal
has been rejected with one -1 vote (15 +1 ones).
