http://issues.apache.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=41296 ------- Additional Comments From [EMAIL PROTECTED] 2007-01-10 07:05 ------- I think for 1.2 this is not a appropriate solution because it will frequently happen that user A tries to edit a docuemt which is checked out and edited by user B. User A will simply click on checkin (then start editing)..... poor user B if he continous editing ;-) We could check for the time when the document is checked out. If the difference to the actual time is greater than a given time (e.g. the session timeout) we can offer to check in the document. This will not prevent the situation described above to hapen but makes it more unlikely. BTW in 1.4 we have a session listener. That means we can decide whether a user which has checked out a document has sill an open session :-) -- Configure bugmail: http://issues.apache.org/bugzilla/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are the assignee for the bug, or are watching the assignee. --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED] For additional commands, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
