I think Ryan is right. We should send in the release notes a list of the
most important changes. And for the "most curious" we can also link to
the detailed changeLog for the release [1]

Yes Gregor posted an old change log. I have split up the log a while ago
into monthly change reports.

All changes are listed in the monthly reports.

Why there is no "easy" change.log ??? I have downloaded the source and
there is no change log also.
