Unsubscribe arbitrary user(s) without confirmation

Hi all

I updated my listserv subscriptions this morning. The current  
configuration seems to allow unsubscriptions without a confirmation.

I said: user-unsubscribe- 
[EMAIL PROTECTED]

What came back was both a request for confirmation *and* a message  
that did confirm the unsubscription ("Goodbye msg").

Is this intended?
