Hi Lenya devs,
I recently noticed that there are various JavaScript-based syntax
hightlighting tools around. Here's a screenshot how CodePress
(http://codepress.org, LGPL) looks with the OneForm editor.
Unfortunately CodePress has no explicit XML support, but apparently HTML
works fine for the XHTML resource type.
The Google syntaxhighlighter
(http://code.google.com/p/syntaxhighlighter/) has support for XML and
XSLT (maybe we could even make our XSLTs conveniently editable in the
browser).
interesting, but certainly post 2.0...
i'd like to have all our css and the fundamental xslts in the
repository, so that the admin can change them online without having to
re-deploy. then such a highlighting editor (which also does proper
indenting etc. would be a huge usability gain.
(ultimately, everything except $MYPUB/config could go into the repo one
day...)
