Hi list, A feedback on my try to use firedocs :
1 - (I test like a basic user : don't install firedocs before - for testing purpose) : When firedocs is not install on firefox, and when the user clic on "edit --> with firedocs", a pop-up is fired. This pop-up just say something like that : "the firedocs protocol is unknow". This is not really understandable for user... -- ?? this is possible to test if the user have the firedocs installed on is firefox (like google do with firebug) ?? If yes, it will be cool to have a little word about the install for user... 2 - (more important), after install firedocs from the official site, I clic on the "tutoriel" page (a translation of the tutorial page). When I would like to edit it with firedocs : -- Firedocs begin to load and few time after I have au pop-up like that : --- title : problem opening document --- content : unsupported content type --- button : quit editor My config : - firefox 3.0.6 - firedocs : http://firedocs.org/download_firedocs - 1.2. I don't have the modules/firedocs/dist/firedocs-lenya-full.xpi -- because I'm a really simple user ! :) - java : 1.6.0_11 ++ > Alright, the defaultfiredocs publication is up and running: > > https://lenya.zones.apache.org/cms/defaultfiredocs/authoring/index.html > > Feel free to add any translations you like. I'd recommend using Firedocs > for testing purposes. > > -- Andreas --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: [email protected] For additional commands, e-mail: [email protected]
