Yeah, there are some GSoC projects which could potentially be incorporated
in the 1.0.0 release (e.g. new Database as a Service API) and there are
other projects which should IMO really start as a sub-project (REST API,
CLI tool).

Currently we have two students - one will work on the REST API and the
other one will work on the CLI tool.
