(just a general "for your info") Usually good way to find out if someone is working on a specific task is to look at our JIRA - https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/LIBCLOUD.
If a ticket doesn't exist yet, this probably means no one if working on it. In this case, please create a ticket and let other people know you are working on it. If a ticket already exists and someone is already working on it, leave a comment and ask a person working on it if they need help, etc. In most cases, more people working on some task means more insight, better code quality, etc. so don't be afraid to chime in.
