Unfortunately, wrong advice. MySpell accepts only 8-bit encodings (ISO, Microsoft, KOI and maybe some other). As far as I know, support of UTF-8 or any other Unicode implementation isn't even planned. ASpell will probably support UTF-8, but OOo won't support ASpell.
