Hi Laurent, A nice solution (optional word break parameters in resource files) has been implemented by Karl Hong, but solving potential incompatibility with StarOffice's spell checker, we need also an API extension to switch this feature from OpenOffice.org's spell checker component.
This is one of the most requested feature from dictionary developers, so vote for this issue: http://www.openoffice.org/issues/show_bug.cgi?id=64400.
