>- see footer for list info -< Hi all As you all know, it is possible to track certain actions in a email when opened in a client by having an image tag thats actually a call to a cf script which can record stuff like ip address, time opened.
Does anyone know of a way to be able to track if the email was forwarded to someone else. The only way i can think of would be to capture the ip of where it was opened and assume that if the ip was different then it was forwarded to someone else. I know that this could also mean that they have a dynamic ip. Thoughts? _______________________________________________ For details on ALL mailing lists and for joining or leaving lists, go to http://list.cfdeveloper.co.uk/mailman/listinfo -- CFDeveloper Sponsors:- >- Hosting provided by www.cfmxhosting.co.uk -< >- Forum provided by www.fusetalk.com -< >- DHTML Menus provided by www.APYCOM.com -< >- Lists hosted by www.Gradwell.com -< >- CFdeveloper is run by Russ Michaels, feel free to volunteer your help -<
