you get what you pay for really in the UK.

If all you want is dialup you can pay anything from around 1p per
minute for access. Or you can do a pay monthly for around �15 and get
essentially free access 24/7 but you do get dumped after a number of
hours but you can usually reconnect immediately.

On Broadband you can get it for around the same price as unlimited
PSTN dial up, starting at around �15 for capped/throttled broadband
all the way up to around �30 per month for home ADSL around 1mb.
Business ADSL is more though.

What about considering WiFi access - most major cities are 'hot' these days....
