>- see footer for list info -< Hi
I just wanted to ask opinions. I'm building something which needs to send emails but also track when then emails (both html and text) are opened. Now I know that you can include images within HTML emails which will record when an email is opened (provided they have not disallowed it) but what about those that have?, not to mention the users which only read emails in text only format? The only way I can think to track every email read (regardless of format) 100% is to force the user to view the email via a cfm page (by only giving them a link in the email which has the userID and emailID appended) and then use the receiving page to record the fact that they have read the email. Any thoughts or comments?
