Running CFMX on whitebox linux with Apache 1.3 (whitebox is based on RHEL3)
All requests for .cfm files result in a 404 response and I get the EAPI warning message when starting apache, i.e. "Loaded DSO /opt/coldfusionmx/runtime/lib/wsconfig/1/mod_jrun.so uses plain Apache 1.3 API, this module might crash under EAPI! (please recompile it with -DEAPI)."
So, I decided I'd better re-compile mod_jrun.so. Following the instructions at http://www.macromedia.com/cfusion/knowledgebase/index.cfm?id=tn_18748 , I get various syntax errors in an included file /usr/include/openssl/kssl.h and can't re-compile.
Has anyone else had this problem or have some suggestions as to how I can get around it?
Mark,
You find this MM article more useful http://snipurl.com/CFMX_Linux
I've seen this error and CF continues to work, despite apache notifying you of this potential problem.
I'm inclined to suggest that the 404 error is nothing to do with the connector, but some other issue, most likely permissions related.
Regards
Stephen
