I certainly had not added any in there and when I looked the 3 I had
played with this morning all appeared there so guess so.

I thought it listed any web service call, is that not the case? So if I
use a google WS in a page does it not appear there?

It wont show anything there by default. There is no need to add anything
there unless you want you want be able to call a webservice as
"googlesearch" instead of using the URL. 
So good for setting up generic web services for people I spose.
