Well, yeah, I guess. But trapping an e-mail prior to Lyris picking it up seems like hard work (and this was only mean to be a five minute job). I need to enable a user (you know what I mean by this) to send the authorisation e-mail that allows a message sent out to a moderated list from Outlook from her PC (somewhere outside our network). There are workarounds (i.e. tell them how to send one-off UTF-7 e-mails) but wanted to find out first if there was a single setting in Lyris that I could change to resolve this (e.g. a "Decode commands first before parsing" checkbox -- *musing* wouldn't life be easier if every problem had a corresponding checkbox?). I've rummaged around the web-interface to Lyris, but not joy. And if you search Lyris's online support for "content-type", "encoding", etc, guess what? You get a gazillion hits, all with messages that contain those strings in the headers (nightmare). -- Aidan Whitehall Macromedia ColdFusion Developer ________________________________________________________________________ This e-mail has been scanned for all viruses by Star.
