Here's the scenario. Outlook crashed my pc the other day and it will no longer boot (unmountable_disk_volume). I have tried putting the disk into another windowsXP machine and importing the foreign disk, but it wont work, just gets stuck trying and then that machine wont boot either as it tries to mount that disk. So, I downloaded knoppix and booted that, which detected and allows me to access some partitions on this dynamic disk, but the file I really want, my outlook.dat file (1.5gb) is corrupted and will not copy.
