I've just read this again, and noticed you're saying Updater 3.

The only Updater 3 ever released for the CFMX range was for 6.0

CFMX6.1 only had a single Updater, and CFMX7, at this time only has two.

I guess the question is therefore, are you trying to install the wrong updater?
