I did originally do that which I saw wasn't a nice idea.
If Taz could point me in the direction of that tag then that would be
great.

But I put nice clean html into soeditor then after a few edits it seems
to get filled up with redundant spans, font overwriting font etc. And
also about lots of lines of unnecesary code.
This in fact has caused soeditor to fill up the 64000 characters allowed
by SQL text fields and I have had to delve in and manually clean up the
HTML leaving it in 60% of what it was with the same result.

are you pasting content into soeditor from Word? This could be the
problem. Taz had a custom tag to strip out a lot of the Wordhtml
nonsense, which is easy to extend a bit.

Well, like an idiot I just spent 3 hours trying to get farcry working
and I couldn't even get the damn thing installed. And that was was with
a video and step by step instructions for muppets.

I am now decided to write my own and am currently use soeditor to edit
HTML, but I have noticed that the HTML it writes is horrendous, full of
tags (</O:P>) I have never seen before.

Did try to implement FCK Editor once without any joy.
Anyone got anywhere with this one. I read it had a nice import for word
documents.

Have also used Active Edit before on a Linux server.

Just looking for a small survey to see what everyone uses.

Thanks for any feedback,
Allan
