That's pretty much what's there already. I tried it anyway but still
doesn't work. I think for some reason the queries only work in the 'members
area' but don't really know in which file this would be 'protecting' the
rest of the site. Any ideas?

Frankly I think it's a bizzare way to set up radio buttons but it does work
in the 'secure members area'. I just tried a radio group and it works fine.
I don't think it's woth trying to figure out what the person wanted to do...
the query is still a problem though:
Lang_rates is the name of the table (for translations) with the following
fields: ID, S_Lang (Source Language), T_Lang (Target Language), euro_cost
(price for language combination)
I simply need to query this table to get a list of 1) source languages and
2) target languages
don't think I mentioned but the DB is Access2000
