Hi all,
We have just opened a back end on our webside for
clients to acces, upload and download files & are
having problems with larger files (anything above 30mo)
it seems that we have a setting on the cf admin that we can't change!
"Timeout Protection: 240seconds. this is the
maximum time a page can run for, you cannot
override this. Pages taking longer than this will be aborted."
I'm looking for a workaround for this and think
it might be possible if the upload was done in
the background & on the server side.
I have a form with <input name="FILE" type="file" class=formcell id="FILE">
when I post the form it goes to another page & on top of this page I have
<cfif #FORM.FILE# IS NOT "">
<cffile action="upload" FileField="File"
destination="#expandPath('./')#/members/ProjectFiles/"
NameConflict="Makeunique">
this works for the smaller files but as I mentioned times out after 240 seconds
any halp would be appreciated
