hello,
as we think that machii is an oop tools, we can use ULM methodologies: when
defining an app, often you develop classes in composition with others: not
class1 "is a" class2, but class1 "has" class2 and composition is well
modelled in UML, and also in machii: we design listeners , defined in
machii.xml configuration file, that are composed of object representing app
actors: this is what i mean to decouple object from each other and from app
context.
after all, oop is not, or not only, a tecnique to write code, but is very
useful analize and design app, before development.
machii lead you in opp approach.
also, machii make large use of cf ponents, .fc, in implementing model part
of mvc pattern, and components are well-suited to encapsulate object.
of course UML is not user-centric, but you can easily prototype youe app.
best regards
salvatore
