Having avoided them like the plague I cannot help you there but
Microsoft do have some heavy information about it. If you cant find
anything about BLOB's look for Binary Large Objects (their full name).
Sorry I cant be of greater assistance but I will be sure to do some
research myself and if I find anything interesting I will let you know.

Don't upload files to the database. Upload them to a directory and then
add the link to the database i.e.
C:\Inetpub\wwwroot\MyWebsite\_files\MyNewFile.txt
That's the usual way of doing things. If this isn't acceptable you will
have start getting involved with BLOB's and that's a whole new ballgame

Hey all,
I have come across a dilemma that I need to upload files into a
database. SQL Server 2000 to be exact. We are using CFMX 6.1. I think we
have to do it using java in some way but I do not know java. I may be
wrong.
Has anyone else ever had to do this before? Thanks in advance.
Frank
