Afternoon all...
If I throw a custom error from a CFC that I'm accessing using Flash
remoting, is there any way to tell (from flash) what the type of the
error is so it can be handled properly? For example, I have something
like this on the CF side:
<cfcomponent>
<cffunction name="testfunc" access="remote">
<cfthrow type="MyCustomException" message="Info about my custom
message">
</cffunction>
</cfcomponent>
Then a little bit of actionscript to call it and catch any errors:
myConn.testfunc();
function testfunc_Status(error) {
...
}
But in the "error" object returned there doesn't seem to be any mention
of "MyCustomException" - the error type is just
coldfusion.runtime.CustomException which is very unhelpful... From the
following http://short.badpen.com/?DPOSIA3V I can't see any way I can
grab this? Which seems a bit silly to me...
Tim.
